Welcome back to Foodtech EYES where we deliver the latest global food innovation news and community updates from UnlocX.


A couple of weeks ago, we successfully hosted the first FoodScopes event, “The Importance of Humanities and Social Sciences in Understanding Food: A Call for Radical Inquiry” at the Gastronomy Innovation Campus in Yaesu, which opened last November. A big thank you to everyone who participated. This inaugural session featured lectures by economic expert professor Satoshi Shimokawa of Waseda University and human geography expert Professor Noriko Yuzawa of Hosei University.
